In other words, they consider the benefits of registering late for these tourneys rather than buying in on time. A qualification tournament cannot end while late registration is still in progress. It may be that the number of players remaining is less than or equal to the number of payouts. If you would like to see how many levels of the tournament have passed before you decide to register, they are displayed in the columns to the direct left under the heading ‘Level’.
